Windows XP Pro SP3
Links in my emails ceased to function from one day to the next. It worked
yesterday, doesn't work today. When I click on a link, a white blank page
opens in my browser (a new page instead of a new tab, if my browser is
already open) then nothing happens. I have to copy and paste the URL
manually. I restarted Outlook as well as the computer numerous times but I
can't get it to work.
The only thing that changed was that a few MS updates were installed
automatically: "Update for Windows XP (KB961118)", "Windows Genuine Advantage
Notification (KB905474)" and "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and
..NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x86". The trouble seemed to have
started since this happened yesterday, March 28th. Coincidence?
Any other ideas?
