From a new message, when I click "To...:", a window opens that allows me to
select names. The first 20 or so lines in the address book are blank. This
caused real problems earlier as I thought it was actually blank, but that's
another story. I want to delete these blank lines. By right clicking the
line and hitting delete, nothing happens. When I right click each entry and
click properties, I get a message that an "invalid ENTRYID was passed in".
Can any one shed and light on how I might remove these invalid ENTRYID's?

You must use the arrow keys to highlight the unwanted entry, then press
delete. It's not the address book that lists the entries. It's actually a
"most recently used addresses" list.

I am confused Mary. When I highlight any or all of these blank entries and
then right click and hit delete, I get the same error message ("invalid
ENTRYID was passed in"). This happens if I use the mouse or the arrow keys
to highlight the entry.

Now maybe you are on to something with the most recently used addresses. How
can I see my most recently used addys?

Mary is confused. She's describing the autocompletion feature, but you're
describing the address book (since you said you clicked on "To").

Open your Contacts folder, switch to a category view, and look for
ill-defined entries. If you find none, remove the Outlook Address Book
service from your mail profile, stop and restart Outlook, and then readd the
service to your profile.
