Outlook 2003 import problems

I'm trying to import mail from Outlook Express into Outlook 2003.
Most of the messages seem to import okay, however the dates on all of them
are at the time of the import. The original received date is lost.
I've done this on three computers to make sure the problem isn't with my
machine, same problems. I've searched google, yahoo, ... found no fix's or
suggestions.

This is known behavior. To preserve the dates, do not import from Outlook
Express with Outlook. Instead, use Outlook Express to export
(File>Export>Messages) from OE to Outlook.
