Outlook 2003 Forms and ActiveX Controls

Hello,

we use W2K/OL2003 and want to add an TIF Image Viewer to an outlook form. So
I registered the Kodak image control ImgEdit.ocx respectively the Microsoft
Imaging library MDIVWCTL.DLL to the Outlook Forms toolbox. But fopr both
controls I get an error when I try to drag them to the outlook form in edit
mode. The errors are different and the free translation is:

ImgEdit: The requestor is not trusted for the requested operation
MDIVWCTL: Library not registered

I tried to follow the suggestion given in MSDN and added Security key
AllowActiveXOneOffForms=2 for Outlook, still no success.

Any suggestion? Regards, Rainer Rosenberger

Hello,

could someone please try to add the MDIVWCTL.DLL resepectively ImgEdit.ocx
to an Outlook 2003 form and tell me whether the same error message come up?
I've still no solution and my workarround was to write a wrapper OCX. The
newly generated OCX was accepted by Outlook and everybody could use it by
setting AllowActiveXOneOffForms=1. So the problem must somehow depend on the
kind how the ActiveX controls is registered and it should be possible to
modify the MDIVWCTL.DLL registration and be able to us the library without
wrapper.
