Outlook 2003 + Exchange + Out of Office + Template

Is it possible?

Outlook 2003 SP2, Exchange 2003 SP1.

If I create an out of office message by typing into the top box (the
message to go to senders), the out of office reply works fine. But when
I try to use a template by clearing that box and instead adding a rule
which fires for all messages and which replies with a template, the out
of office just doesn't happen. Is this because it's not possible to use
templates with out of office when connected to Exchange? (I know how to
emulate the out of office with the rules wizard, but this isn't what
I'm after.)

TIA

Are you using a published form or a template? Templates are local, published
forms are not.

I just hit the Template button in the out of office wizard (to the
right of the Reply with... option), so not using a published form.

If anyone's in doubt as to what I'm doing, this site explains it
perfectly:

Scroll down to stage 4.
Basically, it describes adding a rule the out out of office which
replies with a template. (Note this is NOT a local oft template file -
this is an Exchange client I'm talking about.)

It says that doing this will result in every mail resulting in a reply.
However, if I follow the instructions to the letter, I get no replies
going out. Only if I disable the rule does the out of office start
working.

Any ideas?
