After installing the microsoft connector for and configuring the
domino email account my outlook would become sluggish due to CPU
overload.
After a fair bit of anguish it turned out to be a number of rogue
emails in the domino mail store crippling the .nst file. The offending
emails were all html format from eBay or similar. They never displayed
correctly in Lotus Notes anyway but when outlook tried to connect to
the database, everything ground to a halt.
Even after deleting one of the mails Outlook still wouldnt behave
until restarted.
Once the offending emails were got rid of (a laborious process) all is
now well.
