Outlook 2003 does not display AOL Mail in subscribed folders.

I have configured Outlook 2003 for AOL e-mail according to their directions.
The headers are fetched by Outlook and the number of messages in each folder
is shown in the folder list, but the mail messages (headers) never show up.
It works fine in Outlook 2000.

What am I missing?
 
are you looking in the correct folder? do you have a view set that hides
some messages? does it work if you press shift+F9 when in the folder?
