Outlook 2003 Crashes When Dismissing Tasks And Calendar Reminders

Blaine

In the past day or two, my copy of Outlook 2003 crashes everytime I try to
"snooze" or "dismiss" a calendar reminder or delete -- or check as "complete"
-- a task item. Everything else in the program is working properly. Before
this, the program had been stable for months.

I'm running Windows XP Pro on a very capable, newer PC. I've tried the
"cleanreminders" switch without success.

Any help you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated.

I'd try a new mail profile and the Inbox Repair Tool.

Dear Kathleen:

I tried this, and Scanpst.exe did find and correct errors in my Outlook.pst
file. However, this did not cure the problem. Do you have any other
suggestions? Thanks so much for your help!

Dear Brian:

I tried this, and Scanpst.exe did find and correct errors in my Outlook.pst
file. However, this did not cure the problem. I'm not certain what you mean
by "try a new mail profile". Can you please tell me how to do this? (I'm
pretty computer saavy, but I'm not very experienced with Outlook.)

Thanks so much for your help!

Blaine
