OUTLOOK 2003 CRASH AFTER DROP DOWN LIST SELECTION

Each time I select a drop down list in the Tool Option window, outlook
crash and show the standard
message to restart Outlook and send report to Microsoft. This append
for differents drowp down list
like Message Format, Signature selection, Language selection etc. In
the Eventviewer I can see that
failing module is user32.dll

I tried everything like recreate the profile, reinstalling Office from
scratch, using different logon profile, using differents outlook
profile, running outlook in safe mode but the bug is still there.

I'am running Outlook 2003 on Windows XP SP2 with all the updates for XP
and Office.

Looking for a solution ....

find and delete the *.srs file and the outcmd.dat file. When you recreate
profiles, always choose a unique name for the profile, otherwise it may use
a corrupt file from the old profile.

I tried to erase outcmd.dat and the srs file and recreate a new outlook
profile with a new pst
file but the problem is still there.

I got that problem on each logon profile on this computer for different
outlook profile and pst file (even new one).

I suspect a problem with my registry or a windows system file ???

see below the eventviewer message:

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8010.0, stamp 43d16d53,
faulting module user32.dll, version 5.1.2600.2622, stamp 4226019c,
debug? 0, fault address 0x000529a6.

Finally I found something really strange, Outlook crash only when I
select item in a drop down list with the mouse. If I make a selection
with the arrow on the keyboard, outlook didn't crash. That issue seems
to be related to outlook because I have tried the
same kind of selection in Excel or Word and there is no crash.
