Outlook 2003: "could not find an editor for H (.) files"

I am using Office 2003, Outlook 2003 on a pc running Vista. I am trying to
insert my signature into the signature area in Outlook to be used as the
default. However, when I go into the Signature tab, and click on Advanced
Edit, I get the following message: "Could not find an editor for H (.)
files." I use Word as my mail editor and have inserted the signature just
fine in my work email (same setup). How do I tell Outlook what editor to use
so I can paste the pic in?

You need a default program set for editing html files.
In Internet Explorer select Tools | Internet Options then the Programs tab
and in the HTML editing section select a html editor. Word will do if you
have no other. Notepad gives you least control.

Thanks, Bill.... However it is still not working. my next step is to
uninstall and re-install Office.
