Hi,

I switched to Outlook 2003 recently. I could not find tracking tab anywhere in this outlook to track reading of my emails.

Can sb suggest what's wrong?

Thanks. -Dale

YOu'll see the tracking tab on an item in your Sent Items folder only after
Outlook has processed any receipts for that particular message.

I still can not see the tracking tab on the item in my Sent folder.

I recall that outlook 2000 allows me to request read receipt when I compose the email. I think that this is right since I may not want read receipts all the time. How could I do this in outlook 2003?

Thanks. -Dale

To change the receipt settings for a particular outgoing message, click the
Options button in Outlook 2003.

As for the tracking tab, did you actually receive any receipts?

I have all my messages set to send a read receipt. I am
receiving the read receipts, but the tracking tab still is
not showing up on sent emails that I know people have read.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Have you opened the read receipts or let them sit in your Inbox long enough
for Outlook to process them?
