How do you enable "read" in the tracking tab of outlook 2003?

In Outlook 2000, once you activate the tracking facility and click the
tracking tab in one of your sent emails, aside from Recipient and Delivery,
it also displays the date and time it was read. In Outlook 2003, i cannot
find this facility; only an incoming "Read" message. But once you delete
system generated message, there is no more log when that particular sent
message was read by the recipient, unlike it the 2000 version. Is this not
availalable anymore in the 2003 version anymore , or are there other
parameters that i still have to set?
Would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks!

Did you receive it as a proper Read Receipt or a normal message? (you can
recognize this by the message icon).

When you receive a proper receipt, mark it as read and delete it from your
Inbox. Now when you open the original sent item there will be a tracking
tab. Also not that the icon of the sent item has changed to a message with
an "i" on it to indicate it holds additional info.

Thanks Roady for the reply.
I did as you suggested but the result was just the same, it did not resolve
my problem.
The tracking tab in the sent message still did not show the date and time
the message was read, unlike in Outlook 2000.
Thanks.
