Outlook 2003 - Calendar problem

I am my boss' delegate for all meeting requests. However, when I am not in
the office, the meeting requests go unanswered until I return. Is there a
way to have all meeting requests hit the calendar as "tentative" until an
official response is generated by me(without going into each calendar
item)....

They already should. They do where I work.
