We have installed a new Exchange 2003 server and are currently upgrading to
Outlook 2003 (from Groupwise), the rest of our office suite is staying @
2000. We are not experiencing many issues migrating from GW, except, in
Outlook 2003 whenever we have the cahced mode on (which we want to take
advantage of) it crashes (not responding) fairly quickly upon starting it.
Any suggestions as to what we can check? We have already: renamed the
ost-file and reopened outlook; changed user permissions (happens to admin and
reg user); checked for group policies that may be causing an issue. This is
happening on both our Windows 2000 and XP boxes.

did you try new profiles?

Yes. We have even tried multiple profiles. Only turning off cached mode stops
outlook from freezing as quickly and frequently. (Still does freeze but only
once or less per day which we can live with)
