Outlook 2003 Cached Mode w/Exchange 2000

R

Rick D.

When OL 2003 is running in cached mode in an Exchange
2000 environment, it stopped receiving mail last Monday
afternoon. If you turn off cached mode, user can see all
of their emails.

Issue is not Profile based or machine based.

OL2002 works fine.

We have 2 clients with the same issue that started this
past Monday.

Thanks,
Rick

The ost-file might have become corrupted. Rename it to .old and have Outlook
resync with Exchange to create a new ost-file.

did you delete the ost and let outlook make a new one? Are you using SP1?

Issue does not appear to be profile based. The problem
follows the user to any machine that has outlook 2003
installed. I deleted both the ost and the entire outlook
profile.

could be a bad message - can you identify one of the first ones that won't
sync?

Solution?

Hey Rick,
I was wondering if you ever found the solution to this problem as I am having the same exact issue.
