Outlook 2003 Bucket errors causing freeze

V

VIGUY

Hello

I get the following error throughout the day on a Windows XP workstation
(fully patched) in Outlook 2003 (connecting to an Exchange 2000 server).

Bucket 70920932, bucket table 1, faulting application outlook.exe,
version 11.0.5510.0, stamp 3f1380f0, faulting module mso.dll, version
11.0.5703.0, stamp 3f5cbb12, debug? 0, fault address 0x0001f91e.

I have checked around the net but have come up empty. I have checked my
PST files (including running Outlook with out any Personal Folders)as
well as applying any MS upgrades for Office 2003, but no luck. It seems
to happen several times a day without any specific action I can find
triggering it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Cheers,

VIGUY

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS
==========================

Note: Disable any anti-virus programs and other third party programs when
you
perform the following steps.

Step 1: Outlook Safe Mode
===============================================
Please test Outlook in the Safe Mode. Safe Mode will disable all add-ins or
extensions that will not start, as well as corrupted resources, files,
registries,
and templates.

Click Start-->Run, type "Outlook /Safe" (Quotation marks are not included
and there
is a space between Outlook and /safe) and press Enter.

If the problem persists, please continue next step.

Step 2: Create new Email account profile
===============================
1) On the Start menu, click Control Panel.
2) Click Switch to Classic View, and then click the Mail icon.
3) In the Mail Setup dialog box, click the Show Profiles button.
4) On the General tab, click to select the "Prompt for a profile to be
used" check
box.
5) Click Add.
6) In the Profile Name box, type a descriptive name for the new profile,
and then
click OK.
7) In the E-mail Accounts dialog box, click "Add a new e-mail account", and
then
click Next.
8) Select the appropriate server type for your new e-mail account, and then
click
Next.
9) Fill in the appropriate information as prompted, and then click Next and
Finish
as needed.
10) Click OK.

===============
1. Place the Microsoft Office CD in your CD-ROM drive.

2. Open any Office application you can open, such as Word

3. On the Help menu, click "Detect and Repair". If you do not see this menu
item,
click the chevrons at the bottom of the menu to display the hidden menu
items.

4. In the "Detect and Repair" dialog box, click Start.

5. Click OK, and then restart your computer.

Try these steps & revert.

Subbu.

Hello Subbu,

Thanks for the advise and sorry for the delayed response. I did want
test accuratley before responding.

I followed your advise below, but unfortunatley the issue is still
occuring. I have found that it appears to occur more often during a
folder syncronization (the automatic one running in the background of
Outlook) than any other time.

Presently I am doing a fresh install of the whole Office 2003, with
hopes of finding resolution.

Again thank you for your assistance.

Cheers,

VIGUY
