Outlook 2003 autoarchiving deleletes posts

With some users in our company Autoarchiving moves all their archived posts
to Deleted-folder and not to Archive folders. We are using Outlook 2003 with
Exchange 2007 server. There are no policies set on the server for archiving.
It just seems that with some users archiving works right and with some it
doesn't regardless of the settings in Outlook.

Have you checked the AutoArchive options? There is an option to actually
delete message older than xx, instead of archive - I use it for my Spam
folder. The other folders archive to the archive file.

Yes we have checked the settings. "Move old items to..." is checked and
pst.file is OK. Just heard though from one user that his settings change into
"Permanently delete old items" by "itself". We have to find if that really is
the reason.
