Outlook 2003 & AT&T ISP

Don Hale

Since upgrading to Office 2003, my AT&T connection
profile/properties keeps changing to "Prompt", preventing
Outlook from automatically connecting and downloading my
email at the set interval.

Office XP is my OS. Using AT&T 7.0 Connection manager

Re-run the Account Connection Manager and everything will work again. I
also use ATT Worldnet as my backup dialup account should broadband (Comcast)
go down.

I hope my question is not to much OT: did the ATT Worldnet dialup
account
that you use as bakup came with the Comcast account, or you have had
to
subscribe it separately? In either cases, do you have to pay for that
option?

I ask because I have Comcast as ISP and, even if I never had a
problem with
it, that option would interest me.

Not familiar with Account Connection Manager or where it is found. Please elaborate.

Also, meant to say Home XP is my operating system, not Office XP.
