When I start my computer I have Outlook running at
startup so I can check my right away. Lately when I start
the computer, Outlook says it cannot connect an issues a
retry or cancel option. I have the LAN connection in the
system tray if I wait for that to connect and click retry
it will connect. Is there a way to speed up the LAN
connection so I don't keep getting this error?

Windows XP does not connect to LAN drives by design during the
startup. Post this to
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlook.general for
further help with Outlook if you do not get such here.
