Background:

We have reports that use Microsoft Outlook 2003. At times, Outlook 2003
closes, thus preventing the reports from running.

Question:

Is there anyway I can configure a Windows XP machine to not close Outlook,
outlook.exe. I was thinking maybe through code changing, GPO, or third party
application? Any direction or help is greatly appreciated.

How is Windows closing Outlook without human interaction?

Outlook isn't closing without human intervention. No one is admitting to
closing it, therefore we wanted to put a control in place to prevent it from
occuring except upon reboots. Any ideas?

Why not install it on a machine whose only authorized account is the
administrator's so that no one can accidentally close it and use that
machine for your reports?
