I am using XP Office and Outlook 2002 (latest service build). Question: When
I set-up a filter for specified mail to go into a specific box/ folder, I get
two copies of the mail. One copy goes to the original box the sender sends to
and then the filter / organize mail rule also moves it into the box the rule
was defined for...thus I have two of the same e-mails appearing as unread. Is
there anyway to just have the mail appear in the box the rule was specified
for it to go to and NOT get stuck in the Inbox?

Thanks for any advise!
Regards,
Duane

Hi Duane,

Make sure in the rule "Move" is selected and not "Copy".

Thanks Bert, the rule MOVE is selected so I am not sure why this is
happening. Thanks mcuh for your reply.

Hi Duane,

I would suggest you take a close look at all the rules to see if you
can find the problem. If you continue to have problems you may want to
post this to one of the Outlook newsgroups.
