Outlook 2002 won't download a particular email

This is very strange and it only happens to me on maybe one out of 1000 emails.

For some strange reason, Outlook 2002 will refuse to download a particular text email.
The one I'm looking at right now on my server is a simple 8K text email with no
attachments. It was email #18 out of 35. Emails 1-17 downloaded fine and were removed
from the server, but #18 gave me a timeout and Outlook did not download the emails after
#18.

I was able to get Outlook to successfully download #19-35 by playing with headers, but
this strange email has me puzzled. It's a text email with no attachments so it can't
have a virus.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Could be a duplicate UIDL. If this is the case, Outlook thinks it
downloaded it already and won't try again.

Is this on a POP3 account?
Move the message to another folder on the server and then move it back to
the Inbox. Does it download now?

Hmmm, updating my Trend Micro antivirus seems to have fixed it.
