Outlook 2002 unable to invoke JPG object in public folder with Adobe Photoshop

Outlook 2002 SP2 on XP SP1

JPG files stored in Exchange 2000 public folders are
opened with Microsoft Photo Editor despite of installed
Adobe Photoshop on the client system. Opening same JPG
files outside of Outlook e.g. Explorer does invoke Adobe
Photoshop, and Explorer's Folder Options does have correct
file type JPG with Adobe Photoshop as application.

Icon mapping inside public folder is not shown with Adobe
Photoshop icon, though

However, JPG attachment in email is opened correctly with
Adobe Photoshop.

Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000 do not experience this problem

Thanks for any help
