Outlook 2002 - Typing in Korean in Contacts Notes Field

S

susann

I have a user who sometimes types in Korean - it works perfectly in Word and
Outlook email messages (we use Word as Outlook editor). However it doesn't
work in the Notes section of a Contact. She is able to copy Korean from Word
and paste into this section as a workaround.

I am on Outlook 2007 and can type in Korean in the Notes section of a
Contact no problems.

Is this a known problem in Outlook 2002?

Thanks
Susan

Yes, Unicode Mode was introduced with Outlook 2003; previous versions
did not fully support multibyte characters. Curious that pasting works,
but typing not...?
