Outlook 2002 - stop offline synchronization

D

Darren Goos

After upgrading to 2002 my offline folders automatically synchronize when
Outlook *** thinks *** I'm online. How can I have Outlook run like it did
in the past where I manually request synchronizations? I want to only
synchronize my offline folders when I press F9.

The only preference I have set from the "Send/Receive Group" dialog is:
Schedule an automatic send/receive every *5* minutes.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Turn off the automatically send/receive every 5 minutes for that
send/receive group. That's what's doing it.

Me, I like it to sync every 30 minutes while online, and also at
exit/logoff. Just my preference. The more often you sync, the less time it
takes.
