For some unknown reason, when I click on a header in the inbox it takes much
longer to display the preview. It's almost like some program is checking the
e-mail. I have shut down the NAV auto-protect feature and that doesn't help.
Any ideas?

Thanks,

Larry

First, disable IM integration at the bottom of Tools>Options>Other. If that
doesn't help, with Outlook closed, rename or delete
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\outcmd.dat. If that doesn't work, try
uninstalling NAV and reinstalling without the mail scanning feature. It's
been fairly well documented (albeit anecdotally) that NAV doesn't actually
stop scanning mail even if the feature is disabled, as long as it's still
installed.

Thanks for the help Brian. Disabling IM integration seems to have corrected
the "problem". Maybe you can help me with a Quicken problem.:-) Just
kidding.
