Outlook 2002 signature

I know how to set up automatic signatures in Outlook
2002. My boss wants to be able to manually insert a
signature, but there is no signature option under
the "Insert" menu. Wasn't there a button on the tool bar
in Outlook 2K that would insert a sig.? Did we loose this
functionality for Outlook 2K2?

I've added several signatures now, and "Signature" still
isn't an option under the "Insert" menu. "Signature" is
there under "Insert" ---> "AutoText", but it's a defualt
sig, not any of the ones I created and no option to change
it.

It's still there. You might need to set up some
signatures first before it appears in the Insert menu if
you use Outlook as your email editor. If you use Word as
your email editor, it's under Auto-text. Check to make
sure your Toolbar is customized to include Insert
signature command, if necessary.

WordMail does not include an Insert | Signature command like the regular
Outlook editor. If you want to be able to insert a signature into a WordMail
message manually, you can to create an AutoText entry for each signature.
You can then insert them with the Insert | AutoText command.

Or, create multiple signatures the normal way and make one the default. If
you want to use a different signature for the current message, right-click
the signature that Outlook inserted automatically. From the pop-up menu,
select either the name of the signature you want to use or E-mail Signature
to create a new one.

I, too, am having great difficulty setting up auto signatures. We were
able to insert whatever signature we wanted in 200 and I have not been able
to recreate it. If you get any help, please let me know. Thanks.

That does work, but it was still easier in Outlook 2000. Adding autotext only gives you a one-line signature. I think I have isolated the problem, for me at least, is that it is trying to load signatures off of my exchange server and not off of the hard drive where the signatures I created are stored? However, I can't figure out how to change it.
