Outlook 2002 receiving email problem

My wife's Outlook email stopped working suddendly. When I look at "Email
Accounts", and select Test Account Settings, I get green checkmarks on all
five categories - and I get the test email on my computer (we share the same
msn.com email address and account.) But when I click "send receive" on her
computer, Outlook seems to process things (sending 2 of 2, receiving 1,2,3
etc of 15 or whatever). But in fact nothing goes out and nothing actually
comes in and I get the red exclamation mark and the following message: Task
'MSN - Sending & Receiving' reported error (0x8004060C): 'Unknown Error
0x8004060C'
If i change the email settings on the Outgoing Server page from "Use same
settings..." (where it had always been) to click "Log on to income mail
server before sending mail" I get the same results with a different error
message: '0x800CCC76: unable to send...Verify email address...Server
responded C:\ProgramFiles\Micorsoft Office\Office10\OUTLMIME.DLL'.
I have tried system restore, removing and re-adding the email account,
updating my personal information on the Passport site. Also, we have three
different email accounts and I have removed the other two - which returned
the same error. I also removed Zone Alarm and even disabled the Windows
firewall - no change. I tried changing some of the email settings with no
difference (except different error messages as describe above.)
If it matters, we have DSL connection and MSN is our ISP via Qwest - who I
guess owns the phone line. Also, all three of these email accounts work fine
in Outlook on my computer!
I know this is long, but I wanted to give as much info as possible to help
anyone who might be able to help me. Thanks!
