My Outlook 2002 .PST file seesm to have been corrupted badly... (I am using
W2k SP4)

I can't delete it, attmepting to do so only crashes Windows Explorer, even
coming at the .PST file from another PC on the network does the same thing,
hangs their XP Explorer, running SCANPST on it simpily brings up "unknown
error" from SNCPST. Opening OOTLOOK simpily brings up a message that it is
unable to open my PST file as it is in use.

I can't delete the file to restore it from a backup as attempting to do so
simpily hangs Explorer every time.

I tried deleting it from the CLI and it simpily says that it can't be
deleted because it is in use, in use by what I ask !!!!

Suggestions ?

Try to delete the .pst from DOS.

I tried (from the CLI, like a said) it didn't work, the HDD is NTFS so I
coudl nto boot from a W98SE bot floppy and delete it from their either.

Boot into safe mode and you should be able to delete it.
