Outlook 2002 / Problem installing on Windows Vista

I instalked Outlook 2002 on my new computer running Vista.
No matter what I do, I cannot get outlook to download my email. I receive an
error promblem every time. I have earthling dial-up. We went through every
possible senerio and cannot get it to work.

I was previously running XP on my old computer. I backed up Outlook using a
program called Genie Outlook Backup 6.0 which has always worked well for me.

Does anyone out there have any idea as to what the promblem could be, how I
can solve it or work around it?

Thank you very much!

And that error message would be??? Realize of course, that Outlook 2002 and earlier are not fully supported on Windows Vista.

Thanks Milly!
Here is the error message I get when I hit send and receive in "Outlook
2002"........
"The operation failed. An object could not be found."
This is the message I get everytime I try to download my email.
It refuses to download any email.

Thanks for any further advice/help you can provide Milly.
