Outlook 2002 Not Sending Mail

M

Mark

This is a new install. Outlook 2002 on XP Home Edition.

I send/receive mail from Yahoo and my business website.
I can receive mail, but not send. I have configured the
accounts to authenticate, and have followed the setup
instructions from Yahoo and my ISP (pair.com).

I get the error: "553 sorry, that domain isn't in my
list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)"

I connect to the internet via DSL, use a 4-port hub, and
run ZoneAlarm.

TIA

Are you using the new Zone Alarm Pro? If so go to EMAIL
PROTECTION advanced - in Zone Alarm Pro - there is a
feature there that allows only certain domains to send
from... uncheck it...

I do not have Zone Alarm Pro, but there is an e-mail
option that I disabled. The problem persists.

Outlook 6 works with no problems.

You probably need to set up authentication to your outgoing server, which
you can do on the "Outgoing Server" tab for your account (click on "More
Settings...").
