Outlook 2002 Meeting Request

Is there a way to accept a meeting request without sending a response and
have the organizer of that meeting be notified that the meeting was
accepted? For example, if a meeting request is sent for 100 people, the
organizer would like to know how many people accepted (for head count and
planning purposes) without receiving 100 unneeded emails.
Thank you for your help!

No. Those 100 email messages are not unneeded. They are the sole acceptance
notifications.

Don't you mean they *are* needed, since they are the sole tracking method?
