Outlook 2002 keeps crashing

Hello,

When I double click on Outlook it's keeps coming up with this error..
"Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience. You can send the error report or don't send.
Also it has a check mark to restart Outlook"

If I click on don't send and try to restart outlook it gives you an option
to either start in safe mode or normal. No matter what you do it just keeps
closing and does not open up.

It's running Outlook 2002 SP3 and Windows XP SP1

Any help would be great..

Has it ever worked? Do you have any more details on the error?

Have you tried some of the standard troubleshooting starting points:
- run ScanPST.EXE on your PST file
- create a fresh profile here: Control Panel > Mail applet

Vince,

Yes, it has worked for some time now. I have tried to uninstall outlook and
reinstall, no luck. I have tried updates for Office, no luck. I have rename
the outllib.dll file that comes up with the error when I click on the details
button and the reinstall outlook, no luck. Just to see if it was the pc. I
also went to another pc with the same OS and Version of Outlook created the
profile connected to the exchange server and the same thing occurs. Weird.
Any thoughts?

Vince,

Her local pst is fine. I have tried to scanost.exe and results are the same.
What can I do so I can get this user back up and running with outlook? She is
using outlook web version right now.

Thanks for any help?

Out of debugging curiousity, if you connect to a different mailbox from that
machine does the same error happen?

Vince, this is driving me nuts. Yes, I can configure another user email
account profile and it works. Like in my previous email I'll go to another pc
and create her email account and I get the same error and another profile is
fine logging onto the exchange server. I'm starting to see it might be her
account. Should I just blew it away, I can't lose her email though. Have any
other suggestions?
Thanks,
JC

Hmmm, sorry about this but I'm not very good in dealing with Exchange
server-side issues. You might want to pop a message into one of the Exchange
newsgroups

Vince,

I appreciate your replies on this. After two days of troubleshooting this
error. I finally figured it out. Just for your FYI... From the run menu run
outlook.exe /cleanview. Outlook opened up and no window error. YAHOOOOO
