Outlook 2002 IMAP Sent mail folder

My main email is an IMAP service which works fine with
Pocket PC and Outlook Express.

However Outlook 2002 posts sent mail to the local folder
rather than the IMAP server folder. Is this by design or
can the sent items be redirected to another folder?

Problem solved - unclick send a copy to sent items folder,
then creat a new rule as specified in a knowledge base
article, 198854 "how to Save Sent Items on an IMPAP
server".
