Outlook 2002 Contacts - Sort by Catagories

I've restructured my Outlook contacts list so all contacts are in the root
of the contacts file - so they "ActiveSync" with my iPaq 2210.

In Outlook 2002 - when writing a new e-mail and clicking TO... to select
recipients, the list is now too large to easily navigate and select from.
Is there a way to sort the contacts list so that 1) they all sync using
Active Sync and 2) they are easy to sort when selecting from the TO....
list.

What type of sorting do you want?
Sorting by the Files As filed provides the most options because you can
configure the File As field in a number of ways.
