outlook 2002 can't send using vista

any help on this?

This has nothing to do with Vista or any operating system.
The most common cause of this error is not properly authenticating to your
outgoing SMTP server. Please verify your settings.

This can also happen if you're using one ISP for your email and trying to
authenticate to their outgoing email (SMTP) server but you're actually
connected to a different ISP. In other words you have to be connected to the
network of the server you're trying to send mail through.
