Outlook 2002 can't send email

I recently installed Outlook 2002. I was previously using Netscape 7.1
for email. Outlook is receiving email with no problem, but when I try
sending, I get an error message that says to check my email address in
the setup. I went all thru the setup with SBC and they say everything
is set up right in Outlook, but my router is blocking me from sending
email. Don't understand that since it works with Netscape.

Is there anything unique that needs to be set up in the router (Linksys)
for Outlook 2002 to work right?

I'd kind of like to use Outlook to be compatable with our system at
work. Guess if I can't find a fix, I can just continue using Netscape.

Hi,
so have you checked your email address?
Have you tried the account testing?
Are there any error messages?

So,
maybe you tried it with another email address.
I mean from another Provider and watch what will happen.
