I am running Outllok 2002 SP# on my ho,me computer. I just lweft a job
wherew all my contacts were synched with my office Exchange Server. I have
the saved .pst file, but it is using Office 2007. When I tried to import
this .pst file onto my computer running Outlook 2002, I got an error message
saying that it was not compatible. Am I doomed to upgrade my Outlook here?
If so, where do I go? I spent a few hours looking on the Microsoft website
to see if I could buy and download and Outlook upgrade.

I REALLY need to get my contacvvs back into my Treo.....thanks in advance...

PST files created in Outlook 2003 and 2007 are not compatible with earlier
versions unless they had been specifically created in "Outlook 97-2002"
format.
Office products are not available for download.

Russ,

Thanks for the clarification. So is my only option to upgrade? If so, is
there a way for me just to upgrade Outlook only, or do I have to upgrade my
whole MS Office suite? Thx again.

Anyone who is running Outlook 2003 or 2007 could convert the file to the old
format for you. So could your workplace.

You can upgrade Outlook only if you wish, but you'll lose all integration
with the other Office apps if you do.
