Outlook 2000

I am trying to restore to Outlook, a copy of my pst file
from a cd.

When I go thru the import process, I get the following
error messages:

PERSONAL FOLDERS ERROR
"Properties for this information service must be defined
prior to use"

MICROSOFT OUTLOOK ERROR
"The file d:\outlook.pst could not be accessed. Access is
denied"

Can anyone please help?

First, you do not access a PST by importing it unless you want to lose some
of the data.
Open it instead. Remove the read only attribute it acquired from being on a
CD first.
