Somehow I have duplicate personal folders in Outlook 2000. I am running Win
98. When I right click on the 2nd listed personal folder, locate properties,
click on the advanced tab, I get a pop up message that states "the operation
failed. the object could not be found." I have tried to apply article id
292022, rev 1.0 however I do not know which of the registry keys contains the
old personal folders entry. Please help.

First you should export the entire Windows Messaging Subsystem registry key
to a place where you can easily find it later (this will be your backup).
Then you can try deleting each of the subkeys one at a time until you figure
out which one was the problem. You can import the other keys back in from
your saved registry file when you're done.
