Outlook 2000 & windows XP & palm

I have a new computer with Windows xp and am still running outlook 2000. I click on customise outlook today and nothing happens??? I'm also having a huge problem doing a hot sync to my palm IIIc. I have reinstalled the software, upgraded the desktop and os and still nothing is transferred to the handheld.............please help

For the Palm;
Check with the synchronisation software and see whether it's compatible with
Outlook 2000 or not.
