I have a laptop computer with Windows XP and I am using
Microsoft Outlook 2000 for my e-mail. It is for internet
mail only with 40-bit encryption. I found a site
http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/Out128.aspx
that is an upgrade existing 40-bit Outlook 2000
encryption to 128-bit encryption to 128-bit. I use IE6.0
that has 128-bit encryption. What I need to know is
should I use this update? Will it affect the way my
Outlook now works? Can I just update over existing
outlook? Will I have to change any settings? From what I
have read I am under the impression that the 128-bit
encryption is more secure for sending e-mail and/or
attachments. Any help with this would be greatly
appreciated.
