I have outlook2000 pst file over 2G, is it possible to be open at
outlook2003, because outlook 2003 size limitation is larger then outlook2000.
I have tried that, but it could not be opened. Also, we do not want to use
PST recovery utility for outlook 2000 pst. It is because, it will be
re-constructed the file hierarchical after chopped off under 2G of size. Any
tools or method we could re-open outlook 2000 pst > 2G ? Please advise and
help.

Dear,
You can repair the current pst file by using SCANPST. and also can use the
OL2000 pst in 2003 OL but you still get the 2GB limitation. If you want to
use a 2003pst(20GB) you need to start new pst only to use by OL2003.

No. The limitation is not in Outlook but in the format of the PST itself.

There's no way to repair an ANSI-format PST that has exceeded 2GB without
losing data.
