Outlook 2000 PST file error or corrupt

I get the same message as this past from the knowledge search on Outlook 2000 errors - When you start Microsoft Outlook or try to open a personal folders (.pst) file or an offline folders (.ost) file, you may receive the following error message:

Errors have been detected in the file <file_path>. Quit all mail-enabled applications, and then use the Inbox Repair Tool.
where <file_path> is the path to the .pst file

If you run the Inbox Repair Tool (Scanpst.exe), the file does not resolve the problem.

The repair tool does not fix the problem and I downloaded the PST2gb tool - when it is run it will not repair file - says it is under 2gb and closes....

Any suggestions or help out there

running w2003 prof with office/outlook 200

Try running PST2GB from a command prompt with the -s
command line switch. That will work on files smaller
than 2gb.

I also use a program from Ontrack called Easy Recovery
that works very well with PST recovery.
