Outlook 2000 overdue notice

We are having problem with our Outlook 2000 overdue
notices. When we boot up and Outlook is opened we get
these really old overdue messages. When we hit dismiss
they do not dismiss, the message will pop up a few minutes
later. I have tried to open item uncheck the reminder
message but this has become a problem for staff with many
appointments.

Is there a fix to download for Outlook 2000?

You may need to cleanup your reminders. Here are the
steps..

Close down Outlook and Word.

Out in Windows, click Start | Run

Type

outlook /cleanreminders

and push Enter. Note that there's a space in front of
the slash.
