Outlook 2000 - not importing pst file

I just swapped to a new laptop, backed up my Outlook file to a pst file, but
can't import it to the new laptop (re-installed Outlook 2000). I get an
error message when I try to import the PST file saying, "Properties for this
information service must be defined prior to use."

I tried deleting the "new" outlook pst file and replaced it with my old file
(renamed it and everything) -- still no luck.

Help!

Make sure you've got read/write permissions on the file and that the file
isn't marked as "Read Only". Then use File-> Open-> Personal data File... to
connect to it.
