Outlook 2000: New pop3 emails open as Reminders....

all new emails that download from a pop3 server open up as a calendar
reminder on my screen. So 50 emails downloading = 50 reminders asking if i
want to snooze it, dismiss it, etc etc....

how do i get outlook to stop this, because constantly hitting DISMISS is
annoying me...

this all started when PST hit 2gb, then i had to run the 2gb truncate
utility. then ran SCANPST to fix it, then ran the compact utility. then
archived 1gb of data... now its doing this weirdness.

it was 9.0.0. but i doesn't seem to matter because i just tried the pst file
in Outlook 2003 and its doing the same thing.

Try running scanpst.exe again on the file. Otherwise you can create a new
pst-file and move the content to this new file. If you do this in Outlook
2003 and want to be compatible with Outlook 2000 see;
