Outlook Reminders Gone Haywire - Getting a Reminder for every emai

Each time I open Outlook 2003, I have started getting a reminder message for
each new email message I receive. I have tried to dismiss all, dismiss them
one at a time, etc. and the reminders come back each time I open Outlook.

I reviewed these forums and the Internet and found lots of solutions for
when you do not get reminders, but not how to turn them off for each new
email message. Even when I clear all the reminders, they come back the next
time.
Obviously this is quite annoying. In the meantime I have turned the reminders
completely off, but I really like the reminder feature and would hate to go
without it (working properly).

I have tried to use the Detect and Repair feature to no avail. I have tried
both of these switches (/cleanreminders and /resetfolders) to no avail.
Please someone, anyone, I beg of you for assistance.

Bill,

I turned off all of the rules and rebooted. Still getting the notifications
: (

I tried a resinstall of Office yesterday but that did not fix it either.

I suspect the pst file is corrupted in some way? Is there a way to delete
reminders from the .pst file?

You could maybe start with a new profile and a new, clean PST. Open the old
PST and copy everything you need over except maybe Calendar items then close
it.

Try the “outlook /cleanfreebusy†switch first.
