I have a good amount of "senders" addresses in my Junk email filter and
somehow all of my wife's emails end up in the junk folder. I've looked in
the junk senders list and her email address is NOT there.
any thoughts?

JonM, simply go into your junk email folder, right click the email that you
know is NOT junk and click on "JUNK MAIL", a list will come up and choose
"Add Sender to Safe Senders list". Do this for each email you want to
prevent being delivered to the Junk Mail list!

Mr Steve
when I right click on the email in the junk box the choices are the standard
outlook 2000 choices (open, print, reply, flag, mark as unread etc.) On the
junk pull down menu the only choice is to ADD to Junk Senders List. there is
no "Add Sender to Safe Senders list". my email is (e-mail address removed)

JonM,

Don't look for the email address, just look for the emails that are in the
Junk Mail folder that are "From" her. Right click those and follow the steps
I indicated. Let me know if there is anything else I might be missing.

That is what I did...I went to the junk folder right clicked on the email
"from" her and move down to "Junk e-mail" and the only choices are "add to
Junk senders list" or "add to adult senders list" Are you shure you are
referencing MS Outlook 2000 SR-1

Don't waste your time. Outlook 2000 doesn't have a good junk filter. I'd recommend that you get an add-in junk filter for OUtlook 2000 -- see http://www.slipstick.com/rules/junkmail.htm#tools

Don't go into the junk mail list and try to remove her, she won't be on the
list most likely, just R-click the email in the Junk Mail folder and choose
"Add sender to SAFE SENDERS LIST, once you do it, her emails will go into the
Inbox, unless you create a rule for them to go into a different folder.

Are you sure this process is available for Outlook 2000 SR-1
Well I guess I'm missing something. I am doing exactly what you said to do.
1. Go to the Junk mail "FOLDER"
2. Rt click on the e-mail "FROM" her
3. scroll down to "junk e-mail"
4. The only choices are "add to Junk senders list" or "add to adult senders
list"

No, sorry...try this....

To Make an Exception to Your Filtered Content List
1. On the Tools menu, click Rules Wizard.
2. In the Apply rules in the following order box, click Exception List.
3. In the Rule Description box, click Exception List.
4. Click Add.
5. Enter the e-mail address you want to make an exception.
Messages from the e-mail address that you entered will remain in your Inbox,
even if the content contains phrases found in the internal list of filtering
terms.

To Change the Destination Folder for Junk Messages or turn off
1. From the Inbox folder, on the Tools menu, click Organize.
2. Click Junk E-Mail.
3. Click Turn Off for Junk messages.

JonM - you are right !! There is not an item named "Safe Sender List" when
you make the right click mentioned (I am a user OL 2000 - SP-3). I would
suggest you to define the new rule via the Rule Creator forwarding the mails
from your mother to your In-Box.
On the other hand, I would like to say that I spend some 3 hours time today
looking at MS Web-sites for updates of my Outlook-2000 Junk Mail Filter. And
I have found nothing !!!
Moreover, there are no such Filters for MS Outlook 2002 (XP), as well. I
have found 17 updates mentioned - but ONLY for MS Outlook 2003.
This is some awfull matter. Microsoft - in its publications - has promised
to update the Filter every month.
Thus, I strongly suggest to install some anti-spyware software and please,
do not believe into Microsoft anti-spyware activity !!!. Such third party
software ( in many cases: free-of charge) is easily accessible from many
Web-pages. If somebody wants to - I am ready to suggest some of them.
