I am a pc novice and my sujbect Inbox was beautfilly laid
out with simply a From, Sujbect and Received columns
easily read for me. Unfortunately, I have over 800 emails
in this inbox and cannot show any but the last 7 days. I
have obviously reset something and would like to scroll
down all of them (as obviously I need to start deleting
some).

You can RESET your views... The following is written
using Outlook 2000 as the model (You did not state what
version of Outlook you are using):

Open Outlook
Select the VIEW menu
Select CURRENT VIEW
Select DEFINE VIEWS
Highlight "Messages" view and Click the RESET button
(If it is not gray).
Click APPLY VIEW.
Click CLOSE.

Did this help?
